When a business creates an Askstant account, we may collect information such as name, business name, email address, phone number, billing information, login credentials, and team member details.
Customer Interaction Data
When visitors or callers interact with widgets, chat tools, forms, voice features, or messaging workflows powered by Askstant, we may process information such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, service requests, conversation content, urgency indicators, location details, and related notes.
Usage and Device Information
We may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, timestamps, log data, and interaction events.

SMS and Messaging Communications
Authorized Askstant users may optionally opt in to receive platform-generated SMS notifications regarding activity within their organization's Askstant account. SMS messages may include emergency alerts, urgent operational notifications, and workflow activity.
Consent to receive SMS messages is optional and is not required to create or use an Askstant account unless a specific feature requires SMS delivery. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Users may reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance. Askstant does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages under this notification program.
SMS delivery may be handled by third-party messaging and telecommunications providers, including Twilio. These providers may process phone numbers, message content, delivery metadata, opt-in and opt-out events, carrier information, and similar data as needed to transmit, secure, monitor, and support messages.
Mobile information and SMS consent data are not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. SMS data may be shared only with vendors or telecommunications providers necessary to deliver and support the messaging service.
How AI Features Use Data
Askstant uses artificial intelligence technologies to generate responses, classify requests, summarize conversations, identify urgency, and assist with customer communication workflows.
AI-generated responses may be inaccurate or incomplete and should be monitored by the business using the platform.

Businesses using Askstant are responsible for how they configure the platform, what information they collect from their customers, and how they use customer interaction data.

- Honor opt-out requests and avoid enabling SMS notifications for users who have withdrawn consent
- Keep business information accurate
